Pre-move-in arrangments
Pre-Move In
When a suitable tenant has been found for the property and referencing has been completed we will proceed with the pre-move in arrangements. These include drawing up the tenancy agreements, producing the schedule of condition / inventory, taking the initial rent and deposit from the tenant and organising safety inspections that are required. A deposit is held to help ensure that the tenant looks after the property and is used as a safeguard against unpaid rent / excessive wear and tear caused during the tenancy. On the day the tenant is due to move in they will usually meet at our office to complete any outstanding paper work and collect the keys.
